The Severn Valley Railway (SVR) has plenty of exciting ways to make a visit extra-special. From riding on the footplate to on-train dining, afternoon teas to murder mystery trains and even hosting your wedding – the SVR offers a memorable visit for all ages.
The SVR is a 16-mile, standard gauge heritage line with vintage steam and diesel-hauled trains, operating between Kidderminster in Worcestershire and Bridgnorth in Shropshire.
For more than 50 years, the Railway has been creating memories for millions of people from all over the world.
Your journey from Kidderminster to Bridgnorth
Climb aboard at either end and take in the beautiful scenery as the train travels through the picturesque Severn Valley. Make sure to stop at Bewdley, an attractive Georgian town, to explore Bewdley Museum and take a stroll along the river.
You can also alight at Arley to explore the beautiful countryside including Arley Arboretum. Highley to explore The Engine House.
